Fete de Provence

Fete de Provence - Feast of Provence

Say “bonjour” to summer with a decadent outdoor dining experience inspired by the French region of Provence

Catering and events maestros Felton & Co, in consultation with renowned chef Damien Pignolet of Bistro Moncur, Claude’s and Bellevue Hotel, will play host to ‘Fete de Provence’ – Feast of Provence, from Le Luc to St Tropez, an outdoor pop-up dinner to be held in Sydney on the first night of Summer, December 1st, 2012.

Proudly presented by La Mascaronne and Guy Da Nine wines, the evening will be a quintessentially French affair, consisting of canapés and a five-course Provencal menu served with matching French wines, and served under the stars on the forecourt of St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney’s CBD. Location

Priced at $165 per head,  guests will experience a culinary journey through Provence, starting with canapés and champagne from the Chateau of Jacques Rousseaux in Reims, followed by a spectacular five course menu specially designed by Chef Pignolet to match a specific La Mascaronne or Guy da Nine white, red and or rose varietal, all new to Australia.

The menu, a feast not only for the palette but for all the senses, will remain top secret, to be revealed only to diners at the event – but will include delights that pay homage to the south of France, including Tartare of Scallops, Turkey Boudin Blanc and Provencal Lamb,  just to whet the appetite.

The night will conclude with dessert and a selection of specially air freighted, aperitifs and liqueurs, unique to the region.

Fete de Provence is a one-night only event, commencing at 7pm for a 7:30pm seating.  Tickets are strictly limited and can be purchased here.
